Barra & Vatersay the book captures the essence of the islands’ landscapes. Vatersay is the southernmost inhabited island in the Outer Hebrides. It is now linked to Barra by a causeway which was completed in Traigh Eais is sandy beach over a mile long, bordered on the east side by a extensive area of sand dunes.
